Our home was located in the Santa Cruz Mountains at about 1800 ft altitude above the Santa Clara/Almaden Valleys with a view of San Jose, CA. We were typically above the summer fog layer in the silicon Valley.
Now we have moved to the Carson Valley in Northern Nevada and are at about 5000ft altitude. We have views of the Eastern Sierra to the west and the Pinenut Mountains to our east.
